After 10 years in the industry, R.J. started Reclaim Company, LLC, in 2007. His creative, out-of-the-box thinking and a business philosophy of “persistence and follow-through” has led to success with Reclaim Company and recognition from the community. In 2012, he was the SBA State of WV and SBA Region III winner of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. R.J. is continually defining the future of the company, directing the flow of business, identifying and leading new business opportunities, and managing all business concerns. He has put together a support team of specialized employees to assist him in making Reclaim Company, LLC, an industry leader in the nation.
Joshua joined Reclaim Company, LLC, in 2009 with four years of experience in the industry. He first served as the Controller and then became the Chief Financial Officer in 2012. In January of 2013, he became a member of Reclaim Company, LLC. Joshua’s main duties include: managing cash, identifying risks, overseeing the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization, ensuring adequate controls are installed so that substantiating documentation is approved and available in preparation for financial auditing, and developing and maintaining systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization. Joshua is responsible for Reclaim Company’s relationship with bonding companies, lending institutions, and external auditors. He holds a B.S. in Finance from West Virginia University.
Steve has been with Reclaim Company, LLC, since 2011. He has experience in all aspects of demolition—residential, commercial, industrial, and heavy highway. Steve has over 15 years of experience with equipment operation and 11 years of experience in dismantlement and asset recovery, recycling, air sampling, and on-site safety management. In January 2013, Steve became a member of Reclaim Company, LLC. Steve is responsible for: overseeing the daily operations, implementing the on-site project directives, managing the project equipment, scheduling the staffing and employees for the project, handling daily damage control, managing company equipment maintenance program, assisting with project bids, working with the Project Managers to stay on budget, and working with the company President to build new and maintain existing client relationships. He is also the Chair of the company Safety Committee and trains all on-site supervisors to execute the company safety program and protocols.
Jason came to Reclaim Company in 2013 with over a decade of work experience in environmental abatement, specializing in asbestos. His background includes work experience in asbestos inspection, asbestos abatement, and construction labor. Jason’s primary responsibilities are to perform all asbestos inspections and prepare all samples for laboratory analysis, lead labor crews in asbestos abatement on-site, and manage all on-site safety concerns during the abatement. James joined Reclaim Company, LLC, in 2012 with over 20 years of experience in the excavation field. He specializes in heavy highway excavating, commercial site development projects, utility work, and surface mine projects. James’ prime duties are to manage the day-to-day excavation operations on-site including completing daily project goals, delegation of employee duties, directing the short term schedule, and managing on-site safety concerns. Sam joined Reclaim Company, LLC, in 2013 with nine years of experience in the construction industry. His work history includes experience in demolition, excavation, field supervision, asset recovery and recycling, heavy equipment operation, concrete finishing, and torching. Sam’s main responsibilities are to run the day-to-day demolition operation on-site including delegation of employee duties, completion of daily project goals, and managing safety concerns. Winter joined Reclaim Company, LLC in 2015. She is currently attending Fairmont State University and working on a double major of Accounting and Business Management. Winter brings substantial experience of 10 years of customer service/retail, 10 years money handling, 7 years of management, 4 years of A/P, 4 years of debt collections, 2 years of A/R, 2 years of being a loan officer, 6 months of payroll/HR. Winter’s responsibilities at Reclaim Company include: Managing and processing payroll; Payroll reports; Health insurance; Retirement plans; Accounts Receivable; Accounts Payable; Assist with financial review and audit procedures; Provide customer service to potential and existing clients; Reconcile all bank statements, loan statements, and credit card statements; Reconcile all vendor accounts; Manage all rental agreements; Manage all loans for company; and Verify bank deposits.
Mr. Christopher Ciappina has been with Reclaim Company, LLC since February 2017 and contributes twenty-two (22) years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience to Reclaim Company, LLC. His duties consist of coordination of asbestos abatement projects and all pertinent notifications (10 Day Notifications) and permits, provides training for EPA approved asbestos certification courses as well as respirator training and fit testing. Mr. Ciappina also brings extensive experience in environmental sampling and evaluation, including airborne lead, mercury, hazardous waste characterization, volatile organic compounds, arsenic, airborne asbestos and indoor air quality surveys; use of personal protective equipment and confined space entry. Mr. Ciappina is also very familiar with EPA, OSHA, NESHAP, AHEARA and state regulations for asbestos and lead. Mr. Ciappina has performed Phase I and II pre-acquisition site assessments on industrial facilities, commercial complexes, undeveloped property, fill sites, and residential properties. He also has the duties of acting as the client representative on numerous asbestos abatement and demolition projects. Mr. Sandeep joined Reclaim Company, LLC recently, bringing with him a background of over 5 years’ experience in construction of residential and commercial property. Have vast professional experience in Civil engineering he has operated with diversified domain projects ranging from medium to large scale industries which gave him an in depth understanding for handling various domain areas in Civil Engineering. He has also handled various critical and challenging projects from design to implementation stage and ensured that the projects get implemented as per specification in stipulated time with quality. After graduating in Masters of landscape Architecture from WVU University Dec 2016 joined Reclaim Company and looking after the storm water management(SWM) of the projects and also working on the plan and permits required for the SWM.
Brandon joined Reclaim Company, LLC in June 2018 with 5 years Accounting experience for both large cororations and small businesses. Mr. Green has a Masters in Professional Accountancy from West Virginia University and a B.S. in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting from Concord University.
Mr. Cilento is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering. Sam has over 15 years of professional experience across many industries, such as construction, manufacturing, government contracting, healthcare, and surface mining. Sam is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has served on the Board of the WV Chapter of the Project Management Institute. He has managed projects of size and scale throughout his career, from implementing a new inventory control system in a PepsiCo distribution center, to managing and testing software systems for NASA and the Department of Defense, to leading process improvement initiatives in a community hospital, to implementing business operational processes at a local surface mine. Along the way, Sam has also managed small and large teams consisting of union and non-union personnel.
Sam’s current responsibilities with Reclaim Company are site review; attending pre-bid meetings; bid estimation; asbestos inspection and sampling, review results for necessary corrective action, oversee asbestos removal and demolition activities, and review disposal manifests; meet local, state and federal requirements including individual site permits and submitting notifications to government agencies; utility disconnection; meet with customers throughout demolition activities and for final acceptance; submit invoices. Sam will also help Reclaim Company continually improve, develop, and implement project management tools and processes.

Mr. Emery joined Reclaim Company in 2018 and brings over 6 years of experience in the construction industry. Andrew plans, budgets, oversees, and documents all aspects of his contracted projects. He works closely with upper management to ensure each project’s scope of work and direction is on schedule and on budget. Mr. Emery also performs asbestos inspections and bulk sampling, assists in project estimation, operational coordination and subcontracting needs. Andrew works diligently between owner and operations to guarantee quality of work and project satisfaction.
Mr. Emery holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from West Virginia University with achieving the Dean’s List in 2005 and 2006 as well as the Academic Athletic Honor Roll from 2004 to 2007. Andrew was also an Intercollegiate Athlete for the West Virginia University Division I Football Team and achieved multiple awards during his career in college football.

Mr. Paul Benedum is graduate of Fairmont State College with a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology. Worked after college in land surveying, asbestos removal & monitoring, and heavy construction oversite. He worked 10 years with the State of West Virginia DEP in the government permitting section, and 19 years as a project manager overseeing multiple million-dollar environmental remediation projects from concept to completion. He is a certified Landfill Manager, Recycling Coordinator and Certified FEMA Disaster Coordinator.
Chris joined Reclaim Company in August 2017 while also taking classes at the West Virginia University School of Law as a Legal Intern. During law school, Chris also worked with the WVU Land Use and Sustainable Development Law Clinic, assisting communities from all over West Virginia in their ecological conservation, planning, zoning, negotiating, and drafting. Chris’ experience includes years of working in the busy legal environment of New York City in the real estate and bankruptcy fields. Upon graduating from the WVU College of Law in May 2019, Chris passed the bar exam in July 2019 and has since worked as Reclaim’s in-house counsel, handling all contract, real estate, employment/labor, and corporate legal issues.
Angela joined Reclaim Company, LLC in 2014. She brings with her over 17 years of administrative experience, including six years of work in the legal field, and four years of experience in the construction industry. Angela’s most recent experience had her coordinating a major water treatment plant construction project for CONSOL. Angela has studied American Sign Language, Accounting, Graphics Design Technology, and Business Management at Fairmont State University.
Angela’s main responsibilities are acting as support to the Operations Manager, Project Managers, Estimators, and Chief Financial Officer; Review and process contract documents; Obtain hauling permits for equipment; Obtain necessary permits and certifications for projects; Requests bonds and insurance for projects; Reviews billing information for projects and accounts receivable; Coordinate with Payroll for Certified Payroll; Coordinate with A/R for MBE/DBE participation; Compiling project bids, proposals, and solicitations for review prior to submission; Maintaining bid and project databases; researching new job leads; Updates and maintains the company’s social media and website; Coordinating communication with clients and Reclaim staff; and working with the entire team to guarantee success on each project. Angela is a member of the Safety Committee and records the minutes for each meeting.
